With the release of the second Killzone 2 downloadable content pack “Flash & Thunder” onPlayStation Store today, we have been able to uncover Helghast documentation on their movements in the newest maps: Southern Hills and Beachhead. These two maps might be familiar to veterans of the first Killzone on PS2, but they have been completely reworked and re-imagined to suit the PLAYSTATION 3 experience. The second episode of Rockstar’s promised downloadable expansions to Grand Theft Auto IV has been announced by Rockstar Games. The developer revealed the second DLC for GTA:4 as The Ballad of Gay Tony, which places you in the shoes of Luis Lopez, a “part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince” (or “Gay Tony”), the bar mogul who made a number of appearances in GTA IV.
Confirmed content for this week is pretty non existent. However what has been confirmed for this week is an exciting offering, mainly due to Zen Pinball. Texas Cheat Em will also pleased the poker fans. Of course there is the weekly Rock Band and Guitar Hero DLC to look forward to. A PSP game is expected this week, as Sony makes more PSP games available as a digital download.
New info on the Halo Wars maps have seem to be release, but we or the folks over at Joystiq didn’t think it would be within the game itself. If you’re very, very patient “seriously”, it takes around half an hour for the information crawl that scrolls across the bottom of the main menu to show the names of three upcoming maps. The crawl also mentions the recently revealed gameplay modes from the upcoming “Strategic” Options DLC. The three maps mentioned are Barrens (1v1), Blood River (1v1) and Memorial Basin (2v2).

“Broken Steel” players are reporting on the Bethesda forums that installation of the DLC isn’t working. After the files are downloaded through the Windows Live Marketplace, the installation stops and displays the message “Not a cryptographic message or the cryptographic message is not formatted correctly. CNBC is wondering if slow sales for The Lost and the Damned and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars are pointing to an overall slowdown for the series. The site points to analysts’ estimates that only 1 million of those 13 million who bought GTA IV picked up the first DLC for the game, and to the crummy 89,000 units the DS title moved in March.
